It rained again today and was pleasantly cool, but we switched hotels yet again because it wasn't quite cool enough not to require the broken airconditioner. People roam the streets selling ponchos and umbrellas, even to those of us that are amply stocked in both. Passing cars and motobikes send up splashes of gritty water when they aren't careful and one of the towels had to be sacrificed to mop up the dirty footprints left by those of us who wear flipflops.
My dress was finished today! Not quite to my design, but I love it and am not complaining. My parents are at yet another suit fitting for my dad and my mom was coaxed into getting a dress for herself for the wedding. It makes sense that they have a city that is the tailoring city, but why do they all the stores have the same fabrics and designs?
